Ideas to undermine the Wahabi Regime of Saudi Arabia
After Iran is tackled, we shall need to tackle Saudi Arabia and Pakistan. While Pakistan is already beset with separatist
movements in Balochistan and NWFP, for undermining Saudi Arabia, we shall need to play on the Shia-Sunni divide. A vast
majority of the Saudis are Sunnis, a significant of them Wahabis, including the royal family, there is a rather large and
badly oppressed Shi'ite population in Eastern Province of Saudi Peninsula, which is where a majority of the Saudi oil is
coming from.

It is about time we started brain-storming our strategy with regard to the heart and center of the ideology of Islamist
Terror - Saudi Arabia. The days of hand-holding would have to give way to those of arm-twisting compelled by political
necessities and not oil-dictated niceties!

Richard Perle and Frum write about this quite extensively in An End To Evil and the distinct impression is that we should
support self-determination for Saudi Shi'ites with the end-result being that the Wahhabis will be cut off from the large
amount of oil that enables them to blow so much their wealth on international terrorism and world domination plans.
It is long past time for the president to show that he is serious about winning the war against terror; it can't be done by
speeches alone, and it doesn't require armed invasion. But it does require action: political action to support and aid the
forces of democratic revolution in Iran, Lebanon, Syria, and Saudi Arabia.
