Contrasts in our attitude towards Nazism during World War 2 and now towards Islam
If today’s No War, Commie crowd had been around in the opening days of our entry into World War II, we would have heard the following:
During WW2, "Franklin D. Roosevelt never said, "Nazism is a peaceful ideology”. “I would aspire to reach out to moderate Nazis." (Said while standing next to a portrait of Hitler.) So why does President Bush have to say "Islam is a peaceful Religion"

· "Why we should not attack Germany as do we know for sure if Hitler has weapons of mass destruction?"
· "America has done some reprehensible things to Japan and Germany and so is in some ways responsible for Pearl Harbor."
· "You can’t beat the German army anymore so there is no point in fighting Nazism."
· "America doesn’t have a moral right to tell the Japanese what to do with the Chinese and Filipinos or to tell the Germans to vacate France, Belgium, Netherlands, Poland, Czechoslovakia, et al"
· "We invited this attack upon us with our own policy starting with the World War I reparations."
· "Something must be done to help alleviate the conditions in Nazi Germany and Japan which have created a disenfranchised and angry faction in Europe and the Far East."
· "Franklin D. Roosevelt has manipulated the nation’s grief over Pearl Harbor, and we think that is reprehensible."
· FDR saying, after Pearl Harbor: "Nazism is a peaceful ideology”. “I would aspire to reach out to moderate Nazis." (Said while standing next to a portrait of Hitler.)
